House Treasures - Our grandmother's kamchengs and teapots

From our late grandmother's collection (see photo of her and our eldest aunt, late 1920's), we took these Peranakan kamcheng and teapots along when we moved out of our Bedok Kampong house and are still with us today. We recall opening the covers and seeing all the wondrous achar (picked cucumbers etc) inside in those days!

8 inch tall kamcheng, with lion-dog handle holder. Some chipping here and there due to usage 'sumbing'

5 inch tall teapot (front), back mini kamcheng lost its lion-dog holder (alas!) 'brekar'

Late 1920's photo of our grandmother and our eldest aunt as a child. The other 3 siblings including our father have not been born yet. Mama passed away in 1969.
