Our Bedok Kampong House Singapore

Sharing more details about our Bedok kampong house located at Mukim 27 Lot 143.25. We managed to obtain the map of this entire area from the Singapore Land Authority and placed here to share. The rental we had to pay to the landowner was $3 a month in 1955. Some time later the rental increased to $5, a 66% increase. In February 1957 there was a unilateral ask from the landlord to up this $5 by 100% to $10 or we had to get out of the land. Somehow the dispute was resolved and the rental fee of $5 was kept.... This house at the old Bedok Kampong with the address of 10J Bedok Road was located within the Kampong Bedok Laut opposite the current Bedok Corner Food Centre. The area is now home to the Eastwood Road houses and Fairmount Condominium. See photos for more details.
